Age UK Wigan Borough relies on the work it does locally for the residents of the Borough to sustain, develop and pay for the services we deliver.
Additional resources are always welcome, however, whatever form these take.

You could make an important contribution to our work by:

……Volunteering

If you could spare a couple of hours a week or more you could make a valuable contribution to helping improve the lives of older people in your community. In return for your commitment you will be given support and training and out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed. For more information, follow the link to our Volunteering page

If you wish to make a donation, please contact our finance department at our Market St branch, details maybe found on our Contact us page. If you wish to Gift Aid your donation, please ask for the appropriate form.

……Becoming a ‘Supporter of Age UK Wigan Borough’

We have recently launched ‘Supporters of Age UK Wigan Borough’, our own supporters’ network which is intended to help us make life better for older people throughout the borough. 
Our aim is to have supporters across every township and locality; local people who will:

• Act as our local ‘eyes and ears’, keeping us informed of what’s on in their neighbourhood
• ‘fly the flag’ for Age UK Wigan Borough services and projects, by telling friends and neighbours
• Give us vital feedback on how we’re doing

We also hope that some of our supporters will be encouraged to help us raise funds through car boot sales, coffee mornings, pub collections, and in other ways. 

Membership of our Supporters Network is free and gives you: A Supporters Certificate; An Age UK pin badge: 4 newsletters a year; Invitation to an annual social event
